Hello! I’m Lenae, I’m the owner and designer of Designs By Lenae. I’m a mom to four amazing kids, wife to an awesome husband. I am also a chronic pain, degenerate disk disease and fibromyalgia warrior. I love to decorate and make homes beautiful and inviting- It’s a wonderful distraction from the daily pain. After years of decorating my own home and helping friends, I have found that my greatest passion lies in making old things beautiful again. I want to do my part to take care of our world and reduce waste, so I use once-loved items whenever I can. I see potential in broken or discarded items and I want to give them purpose again-maybe because I feel broken and discarded but I still want to have a purpose. Because of the nature of my items, they are each unique. I love the quality and character of old items and love to renew them, giving them new life. There may be signs of an items previous life still visible, please keep in mind that this is not a flaw but a characteristic of a renewed item. Just because life has beaten us up a bit doesn’t mean we can’t be beautiful! Each is an individual and as such can be quirky and imperfect- this is what I love most about them! I’m so excited to share what I do with others! It’s been a long time coming and I hope I can use the talents God has given me to leave some beauty in the world while I can. I’m so happy to provide you with one-of-a-kind items that will beautify your home. I take care to create each piece with love and attention and I hope you love them as much as I do!
